Classical Armenian Tour includes:
Day 1:
Pick up from the airport and transfer to the selected hotel.
Day 2:
City tour including main highlights of the city visit Republic square, State
University, City panorama, Cascade, Parliament building, President’s Palace, Opera
House, Matenadaran (depository of ancient manuscripts); visit the Genocide Memorial,
dedicated to the Victims of 1915 and the Genocide Museum. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 3:
Drive to Echmiatsin Mother Cathedral, St. Hripsime church, Zvartnotc Temple
then Visit Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day4:
Leave Yerevan and drive to the south. En route visit: Khor Virap monastery, visit
Noravank monastery, Qarahunge – the Armenian Stonehenge then continue driving to
Tatev monastery hears you will have a chance to ride the world’s longest cable car, then
visit Goris city. Overnight in Goris.
Day 5:
Drive to Khndzoresk cave settlement then continue to the north via Selim Pass,
Noradouz to see the Khachkars Hayravank at lake Sevan, Sevanavank on the
peninsula and drive to Dilijan for overnight in Dilijan Old Complex or Dzoraget.
Day 6:
Explore the area around Dilijan we use to call Armenia’s “little Switzerland”
because of its nature. Visit Haghartsin and Goshavank monasteries. Overnight in Dilijan.
Day 7:
The next day after breakfast visit Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries both monasteries
are under the protection of UNESCO then drive to Yerevan. Visit the vernissage open-air
a market where you can buy souvenirs, handmade works, and jewelry from Armenian artists.
Overnight Yerevan.
Day 8:
Tour to admire the breathtaking Canyon of Kasakh and be inspired by the
magnificent Monastery of Saghmosavank (Monastery of Psalms) and Ohanavank. You
will enjoy exploring the slopes of Mount Aragats with Amberd Fortress at 2300m above
sea level. Overnight Yerevan.
